Hosted by the Macao SAR Government, and co-ordinated by the Macao Trade and Investment Promotion Institute and the Environmental Protection Bureau, the “2023 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition” (2023MIECF) will provide the public with free access today and tomorrow (19 to 20 August). Tomorrow (20 August) is designated as the “Green Public Day”, and a series of educational activities will be offered on-site to encourage the public to practise a green lifestyle and promote the concept of green and low-carbon living.
To enable the public to learn more about the latest environmental information and technologies, as well as to raise public awareness and participation in environmental protection, the 2023MIECF continues to designate the last day of the exhibition as the “Green Public Day”. A series of on-site educational activities related to environmental protection will also be staged, including the Green Showcase, environmental workshops, booth games, stage games, and lucky draw. In addition, the Eco Fun counter will also be set up on-site, where 50 bonus points will be available for in-person registration. Concurrently, the mascots of the Environmental Protection Bureau will also be on-site to take pictures and interact with the public.
The 2023MIECF aims to popularise green and low-carbon concepts through a series of educational activities and to encourage the public to turn green concepts into practical actions in their daily lives through edutainment.
To facilitate green mobility, the 2023MIECF offers free electric shuttle buses on four routes travelling between Central Macao, Northern Macao, Taipa, and the MIECF venue today and tomorrow (19 to 20 August). For more information, please visit 2023MIECF’s official website at www.macaomiecf.com.
