MIECF-A Regional Platform for Effective Exchanges in Environmental Protection

The Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (MIECF) is hosted by the Government of the Macao Special Administrative Region of the People's Republic of China.

Launched in 2008 and accredited by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI) in 2011, MIECF has consistently improved its quality. In addition to bringing together a series of professional international forums, exhibitions, business matchmaking  and networking activities, it attracted participants at home and abroad. By organising high-level delegations to take part in the event, it promotes international co-operation between governments, industries, universities, research institutes, users and investors in the environmental protection area. MIECF aims to grow into an international exchange and co-operation platform that promotes technology transfer and sustainable development for the environmental protection sector in the “Belt and Road” countries and regions, the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region (PPRD), the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, Portuguese-speaking countries, European countries and the rest of the world.

Theme: Building an Ecological Civilisation Through Innovative Initiatives

Dedicated to the theme “Building an Ecological Civilisation Through Innovative Initiatives”, the 2023MIECF will present a string of high-level themed conferences, green forums, project promotion and business matchmaking  among other exchange activities. It aims to support the country's pursuit of dual carbon goals, develop Macao into an ideal city for living, provide green impetus for sustainable development of the society and ecological civilisation.
