The 2025 Macao International Environmental Co-operation Forum & Exhibition (2025MIECF) will designate tomorrow (29 March), the final day of the event, as “Green Public Day” with free admission for the public. This year’s event is packed with various green elements, offering residents the opportunity to acquire the latest environmental knowledge and technologies via the MIECF platform, adopt a sustainable lifestyle, and foster the collaborative creation of a low-carbon future.
The 2025MIECF Green Public Day will continue to exhibit an extensive and diverse list of green elements under the theme “Innovation and Green Development – Solutions to Build Beautiful Cities”, welcoming the public to visit for free tomorrow (29 March). The Green Showcase is one of the featured highlights, as it unites products and technologies from a variety of environmental sectors, both domestic and international. Visitors can discover environmental information, observe the use of green technology in everyday life, and develop innovative green thinking during their visit to the MIECF exhibition zones.
As expected, there will be a string of educational and enjoyable activities available on the spot at this year’s event, including stage games, booth games, environmental workshops, and a lucky draw. Residents are welcome to take part and learn a range of carbon reduction tips in a fun and educational way. Participants will have the opportunity to become DIY experts and experience the satisfaction of “upcycling waste into treasure”. With the aim of spreading the idea of low-carbon and green living, visitors who complete the registration process at the “Eco Fun” registration site will be awarded 50 carbon bonus points; participants in on-site activities will also have the chance to win eco-friendly gifts and take a photo with the mascots of the Environmental Protection Bureau.
Four free all-electric shuttle bus routes between the Central District, the Northern District, Taipa, and the MIECF venue will be provided on Green Public Day to encourage the public to travel green. The environmental activity area will be open tomorrow (Saturday) from 10:00 to 17:00 at Cotai Expo Hall A, The Venetian Macao.
