The Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People’s Republic of China has supported the promotion of ecological protection in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, with remarkable results in bringing the region’s green and low-carbon development to a world-advanced level. The Co-operation in the construction of forest cities between Guangdong-Hong Kong and Guangdong-Macao has been carried out in an orderly manner, and special plants and animals have been effectively protected. He also commended Macao for its active effort integrating into the overall interests of the national ecological civilisation construction and identifying key areas such as promoting the co-construction of a quality living circle in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao, fostering cultural exchanges, and strengthening the construction of related facilities.
In addition, other keynote speakers also delivered speeches on the topics of “Restoration Strategy for Portuguese Rivers: Nature-Based Solutions”, “Promoting Holistic Green Transformation for Economic and Social Progress”, “Innovative Management Drives Green Transformation and Development”, “Technological Innovation of Ecological Environment Supports Green and High-quality Development”, and “The Development of Sustainable Mobility in Brazil”
