Mr. Xingan Ge

Expert of the Ecology Team of Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Area, Vice President of Susallwave Sustainable Digital Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd.

Mr. Xingan Ge is Vice President and Chief Consulting Officer of Susallwave Sustainable Digital Technology (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd., a senior researcher at the Beijing-based Institute of Finance and Sustainability (IFS), and an expert in the ecological group of the Shenzhen Pilot Demonstration Zone. He was President of China Emissions Exchange (Shenzhen), Secretary-General of the Shenzhen Green Finance Committee, a member of the Advisory Committee of Sustainable Finance under UNDP China, and a Chinese expert in ISO/TC 322, the technical committee on sustainable finance of the International Organization for Standardization. With more than ten years of experience in climate change and carbon trading, Mr. Ge is proficient in the design of the global carbon emissions trading system and trading theories and has co-authored the first monograph on the carbon emissions trading system in China. He is also experienced in carbon market construction and carbon financial product innovation and has been deeply involved in the preparatory work for and design of Shenzhen’s carbon emissions trading system, responsible for the operation and management of Shenzhen's carbon market.
