Dr. Dai Bin

President of China Tourism Academy

Dr. Dai Bin, is currently a member of the 14th CPPCC National Committee, and the President of the China Tourism Academy, and director of the Data Centre of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. He has presided over major national science and technology and social science projects for a couple of times. Since 2008, he presided over and participated in the research and drafting of national tourism development plan, policies, laws and regulations, and has won the Government Innovation Award of the United Nations World Tourism Organization twice. His main research fields include tourism thoughts, tourism economy and tourism policies. He has published more than 20 monographs, teaching materials, anthologies, and more than 500 papers and professional articles. He also serves as the Chief Editor of "Tourism Management" (National People's Congress copy data), a part-time professor and a doctoral supervisor at Dongbei University of Finance and Economics and Henan University, a member of the Expert Advisory Committee to Hainan Free Trade Port, and a consultant to the People’s Government of Fujian Province, Tibet Autonomous Region, Shanxi Province, and Qinghai Province.
