Mr. Liu Wei

Director of the Pollution Source Management Division, Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau

Mr. Liu Wei is the Director of the Pollution Source Management Division of the Beijing Municipal Ecology and Environment Bureau and a senior engineer. He has been committed to air pollution treatment and control, environmental quality monitoring and management, and general management of stationary source emissions. He was responsible for the coal-fired power transformation and clean energy substitution project in central Beijing aimed at energy structure adjustment, and the upgrading of the air, water, and soil environment monitoring network layout. Currently Mr. Liu is working on the classification of pollutant discharge units in all industries, and the research on and application of improved supervision methods.
