Graduated from Beijing University of Chemical Technology,specializing in polymer materials. Worked previously as Chief Engineer in the Institute of Chemical Industry Standardization. Currently, Deputy Head of the Quality, Safety and Environmental Protection Department, Professor and Senior Engineer of China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation, cumulatively, Secretary-General of National Chemistry Standardization Technical Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Food Additives Sub-Committee of the National Food Safety Standard Review Committee, Deputy Secretary-General of Energy Industry Coal-to-Fuel Standardization Technical Committee, Executive Vice President of the Board of Directors of the Chemical Sub-Branch of China Standardization Association, Specialist of the National Standardization  Management Committee, Chief Assessor of China National Laboratory Accreditation, National Accredited Teacher Level Assessor. Engaged in the works of standardization, metrology, testing and quality management of chemicals, establishment of industry standards, projects research, inspection and administration of the revision process of standardization for almost thirty years.
