Prof. KOU Kun Pang, the Head of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering

Bios

Prof. KOU Kun Pang is the Head of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Currently he is the Vice Chairman of the Consultative Committee of Environment of Macau SAR Government. He has been working for the University of Macau and teaching for twenty years.

He is a devoted lecturer and gets along well with his students. Aside from teaching, Prof. Kou published more than 30 journals and conference papers. Prof. Kou is also a reviewer in various journals. In 2011, he was one of the members of the editor board of the Junior High School’s teaching material “Energy Education”.

Prof. Kou is also actively participating in professional societies and community services. He provides consultancy services to government agencies such as the Environmental Protection Bureau and Transportation Bureau, he served as the Member of Consultative Committee of Community Service of Macao SAR Government from 2008 to 2017, and the Convenor of the Consultative Committee of Traffics of Macau SAR Government from 2011 to 2017.
