Ms. Li Xiaohua, born in 1964, member of the Communist Party of China, graduated from Beijing Normal University with a Master of Science and senior engineer, is currently Deputy Director General of Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau. She held several positions as Deputy Chief/Chief, Division of City Lighting Management, Beijing Municipal Commission of City Administration and Environment, Chief of the Division of Environmental Science and International Cooperation, Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Chief of Division of Water Environment and Ecology Management, Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Associate Counselor, Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau and Chief Engineer, Beijing Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau.

Her major responsibilities include: taking charge of ecological conservation, environmental planning, environmental legal affairs, environmental impact assessment, environmental technology, standards and industry, international cooperation and pollution source census.
