Bios

Dong Ke got a Ph.D. degree from the Department of Urban Planning at the School of Architecture, Tsinghua University, in 2001. He is currently the Director of Research Institute of Eco-City in China Academy of Urban Planning and Design (CAUPD), and professor-level senior engineer. He has been devoting himself to the research of general city planning, green and ecological city planning and other related areas. He has been the Project Leader of general city planning of Tianjin Sino-Singapore eco-city, Suzhou, Shenzhen, Dalian, Changzhou, Wuxi and other places. He has been the Project Leader of research about “general city planning compilation and approval procedures”, ” control detailed planning compilation and approval procedures”, “general guidelines for eco-city planning”, “urban and rural planning supervision system research”, “urban and rural planning drawing standards” and others. He participates in the preparatory and document drafting of “Central Government Conference of City Work”.
