Daniel M. Cheng
Ir Cheng is the Managing Director of Dunwell Enviro-Tech (Holdings) Ltd. and also the Deputy Chairman & Chairman of the Group 26 (Environmental Industry) of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries. Founding President of Hong Kong Environmental Industry Association. Board Member of Business Environment Council. He is a Fellow of Hong Kong Institute of Engineers, past Chairman of Hong Kong Waste Management Association. In addition to these roles, Mr. Cheng is currently Council Member of Hong Kong Trade Development Council, Hong Kong Productivity Council and Vocational Training Council, member of the Energy Advisory Committee, Member of the Trade and Industry Advisory Board, Member for the Innovation and Technology Support Program under Innovation and Technology Fund. Member of Advisory Committee on Water Resources and Quality of Water Supplies, Member of Economic Development Commission (Working Group on Manufacturing Industries, Innovative Technology, and Cultural and Creative Industries).
It was due to Ir Cheng’s commitment and success of the environmental achievement that he received the JP Honour in 2011 and the Medal of Honour in 2007 from HKSAR Government. He was selected as winner of Hong Kong Ten Outstanding Industrial Engineers Award in 1999, Innovative Entrepreneur of 1996, The Young Industrialist Awards of Hong Kong 1995.
