Ph.D. Mo Wangui, Deputy Director of Institute of Financial Research of People’s Bank of China Speaker Bio: Dr. Mo Wangui, graduated from Fudan University with a Ph.D in Economics, is the Deputy Director of Institute of Financial Research of People’s Bank of China (PBC). Focusing on the research of macro economy and international finance, he has led several key research projects including “Comparative Study of Two Major Global Financial Crisis (Currency and Finance Perspectives)” and joint research project of the finance ministries and central banks of the BRICS countries. He also participated in drafting many important documents including the reform and development plans of financial industry during the 11th, 12th and 13th Five-Year Plan periods, documents of the National Financial Working Conference, and the overall plan for reform of rural finance. He has published over 30 research papers on journals, such as “Finance Research”. |
