Ph.D. Daniel Zhu, Professor of Green Finance at Renmin University of China Speaker Bio: Dr. Daniel Zhu is the Professor of Green Finance at Renmin University of China, managing partner at Prosper Capital Corporation, advisor of CICC Capital Management. He was senior team leader at the World Bank based in Washington DC, Managing Director of Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs, and official at former Ministry of Environmental Protection of the People’s Republic of China. Currently he is working on a study and verification of the first “Green Commercial Bank” with a team from Renmin University and International Financial Corporation and is setting up a “Green Investment Fund”. Mr. Zhu’s co-authored book Introduction to Sustainable Development won the ”China National Book Award”. He has Ph.D. in Economics from Renmin University of China and Master of Public Administration from Harvard Kennedy School. |
