Green Business Co-operation Day: Green Forum Session 1 Green Business Co-operation Day Development of Sustainable Innovation Ecosystem with the Intergrowth of Green Industries (Co-organised with PricewaterhouseCoopers Macau) Ballroom Level 3 With growing environmental awareness about climate change and sustainable development in China, the “30-60 Carbon Neutrality Goal” requires more from the current economic structure. As far as the companies are concerned, sustainable management is an essential component to the long-term development. Carbon Asset and Green Finance Ecosystem Topic:
Along with the evolution of global interference addressing the climate change, companies need to build a green and flexible development model. Carbon asset, the process of the value assessment arising from the reduction of carbon emission, will reform the development model of the country, enterprises and even individuals, and become the main approach to carbon neutrality. This session will invite ESG expert from PwC together with leaders from related industries, to focus on carbon asset, including law and regulations, carbon emission trading system, development of decarbonised technology and carbon finance system, carbon asset management of enterprises. This session will explore the role of carbon asset to enterprises, regions and nations and how to embody carbon asset’s value in the society’s development. Moderator:

Panel Discussion 2 After the carbon neutrality goal, enterprises now seek ways to achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) and fulfil corporate social responsibilities by adopting new management and business model, including decarbonised management for manufacturing and services and sustainable supply chain management. This session will invite PwC expert in the automobile field and leaders from related industries, to centre on the goal of carbon neutrality, and discuss the strategic transformation and upgrading of traditional industries, especially in aspects of low carbon management and green supply chain reformation. There will also be discussion on the business opportunities derived from different parts of the value chain of green commuting, the sustainable co-operation model that will enable the integration and intergrowth of green industries in the low-carbon economic climate. Session 2 The China’s 14th Five-Year Plan sets “making new progress in building ecological civilisation” as one of the major social and economic development targets, pointing out a clearer direction for promoting green development and facilitating harmonious co-existence between human and nature. Speakers from relevant fields are invited to this session to introduce the environmental policies in the Plan. Session 3 In order to facilitate the co-operation between Macao and the Pan-Pearl River Delta Region environmental protection industry, this session is held in the form of a co-operation and exchange conference, to which representatives from the relevant associations from across the nine Pan-Pearl River Delta provinces and Macao are invited to share their experience. The conference will focus on the leading edge of Pan-Pearl River Delta provinces’ environmental protection industries and analyse the whole picture and demand of the environmental protection market in Macao, as well as the business environment and environmental policy, so as to provide a platform for the industry colleagues to understand the demand and potential of the environmental market in each region and to assist them in exploring opportunities for co-operation. Session 4 In the face of global climate change and the need of energy conservation, the development of low-carbon energy sources and energy-saving technologies has become a trend. In order to promote the low-carbon strategy and energy conservation to achieve the dual carbon goals, experts and scholars from different fields are invited to this session to share their views on energy transformation and air quality improvement, so that participants can learn about the recent development of related industries and explore the relationship between energy transformation and air quality.
