Mr. Zhu Haojun, Deputy Director of the Institute of Energy Strategy and Policy, Energy Development Research Institute, China Southern Power Grid (Mainland China)

Topic: Study on Low-carbon Energy Transformation Path of Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Towards Carbon Peak and Carbon Neutrality Demands

Mr. Zhu Haojun obtained doctoral degree in Electrical Engineering from the South China University of Technology at 2006. He has been employed by the Guangdong Electrical Design Institute, Guangdong Power Gird Research Institute and Energy Development Research Institute CSG who specializes in technical research on power planning, new energy technology and energy strategic policies. Now he is the Deputy Director of the Institute of Energy Strategy and Policy, Energy Development Research Institute, China Southern Power Grid and a senior electrical engineer. Mr. Zhu specialises in power system planning, renewable energy system and energy policy, and received the Technology Innovation Award of the China Southern Power Grid and the Engineering Consulting Award of Guangdong Province. He is also a member of the Renewable Energy Generation Committee in the China Renewable Energy Society.
