Mr. Sun Jiaren is a researcher and is currently the Deputy Director of the Atmospheric Environment Simulation and Pollution Control Laboratory of the Atmospheric Environment Research Center, South China Institute of Environmental Sciences, Ministry of Ecology and Environment. He has long been engaged in research on the characteristics, causes, and control policies of atmospheric complex pollution in the Pearl River Delta region. Dr. Sun has undertaken a number of national key research and development programs and provincial and ministerial projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Guangdong Provincial Natural Science Foundation. He was appointed as a member of the second committee of the Climate Change Branch of the Chinese Society for Environmental Sciences, and a member of the Guangdong Provincial Science and Technology Consulting Expert Database under the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province. Dr. Sun has won the second prize of the Guangdong Environmental Protection Science and Technology Award, and has published more than 20 academic papers in recent years.
